The SHF Control Center software provides a variety of features to make the BPG and DAC work hand in hand as virtually one instrument.
To operate:
- All D, F and S-Series amplifiers*.
- All modules with starting with a “C” in the P/N (SHF Cxxx A/B/C)
- SHF 614 B/C DAC
- SHF 616 A/B/C PAM-MUX
- SHF 19120 A/B/C AWG
- SHF 12105 A and SHF 12106 A BPG
- SHF 78124 A
SHF Optimizer
- The SHF-Optimizer software is intended to operate the SHF C681 A and C683 A FIR-Filters.
- By using sophisticated DSP and optimization algorithms, the SHF-Optimizer does the tap calculation and enables the filter to compensate arbitrary frequency characteristics.
- Further, it performs a fast calculation of the output eye, the frequency response and the group delay of the signal chain with and without optimization.
BERT Control Center (BCC)
- An easy to use software package to provide a user friendly interface for changing the operating parameters plus a powerful measurement utility.
- To be used for all mainframe based bit error rate testers (BERT), optical transmitters, optical receivers, clock generation and distribution instruments.

- To operate SHF 600 series DACs.
- Older versions of the SHF D-Series amplifiers (D836 A/B & D837 A/B) are also to be operated with this software.
* Older versions of the D-Series amplifiers (SHF D836 A/B & SHF D837 A/B) are to be operated with the “SHF 600 Series Control”.
